TERRYS — Josie Greig

The Terrys are an Australian surf-rock band known for their infectious energy and laid-back vibes. Originating from Gerringong on the NSW South Coast, they have garnered a loyal fanbase with their sun-soaked sound, becoming a staple in Australia’s indie music scene. Their vibrant visual identity enhances their fun and authentically Aussie style, ideal for creative projects.

I’ve worked with The Terrys on several creative projects, from live music photography to music design. For their single ‘IDK’, I began with hand-drawn sketches of the band mates which were then digitised to create that DIY look. I love the uniqueness and repetition found in this cover. I further extended the artwork into an animated format for the Track’s Spotify Canvas GIF which was a bunch of fun, and later adapted the illustration again for Merchandise in the form of a Ringer Tee, merging music and fashion seamlessly.

Most recently, I was asked to revisit the bands iconic 'Terrys Flower’ Logo. Using the same process—analog sketching, digital refinement, and stylisation, I was able to create a refreshed summer look, elevating their visual presence. The logo has since been used for their Stage visuals, as well as social media icons. It’s always such a pleasure working alongside The Terrys!
